Oslo´s Geology and Landforms (2014)

Originating from a geological perspective, the artists, together with the pupils from Hersleb Upper Secondary School, explored their immediate environment. The artists, pupils, The Geological Museum and Tenthaus Oslo worked together over a considerable period of time. By exploring rocks, crystals, minerals and volcanic material at The Geological Museum, an archive of experience was created.
The result was shown as a textile piece, clay print, notebooks and video at
Tenthaus and Hersleb School in 2014.

At the exhibition at Trøndelag Centre for Contemporary Art, the work was shown through collaborative textile pieces and the personal notebooks of the pupils.
Participants: Pupils from Class 3GB undergoing basic training for speakers of minority languages at Hersleb Upper Secondary School. Teacher: Halvor Frømyr.
